At Beacon of Light Counselling Centre, we are committed to being a respectful neighbour within the local community. We ask all clients attending appointments to be mindful of parking regulations and the residential nature of the surrounding area.
1. Respect for Local Residents
Our centre is located within a residential estate. Please:
- Park considerately and avoid obstructing driveways, entrances, or access points
- Do not park in a way that restricts visibility for pedestrians or other drivers
- Be especially mindful of children and families living in the area
2. Compliance with Road Traffic Laws
All clients must comply with applicable Irish road traffic and parking regulations. In particular:
- Do not park on footpaths or in a manner that blocks pedestrian access
- Do not park dangerously or in a way that impedes emergency vehicles
- Observe any road markings, signage, or restrictions in place
3. Estate Parking Considerations
Parking within the estate is generally on a first-come, first-served basis and is shared with residents.
We ask clients to:
- Avoid parking directly outside residents’ homes where possible
- Use available spaces responsibly and minimise disruption
4. Peak Appointment Times
During busy periods, parking availability may be limited. Where possible, we encourage:
- Allowing extra time to find appropriate parking
- Considering walking, cycling, or being dropped off where feasible
5. Our Commitment
We take community concerns seriously and are actively working to ensure that our operations do not negatively impact local residents. This includes:
- Communicating expectations clearly to all clients
- Reviewing parking arrangements on an ongoing basis
6. Shared Responsibility
We kindly ask all clients to play their part in maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Failure to park responsibly may result in inconvenience to residents and could lead to enforcement action by local authorities.
Thank you for your cooperation and consideration.
